Technology has transformed our social interaction in a major way. We no longer have to wait day’s or even months, in some cases, waiting for mail. Technology has empowered us to communicate far, wide and at the moment we want. Overall, I think technology has been a very positive development for our social interaction.
Technology has allowed us to be constantly in touch with people we care about. We don’t have to call or mail each and everyone, to know if they are doing well, we can just glance at our social media page and see their daily updates. It, also gives us opportunity to project our best self or be as real as we want.
Secondly there is Youtube, the social television of this new World. Broadcasting is no longer limited to companies and big institutions like government. Anyone with access to camera, computer and a stable internet connection, can share their talent, work or even just good old opinions Worldwide.
In conclusion, I would say technology has provided us with very useful tools. It is unto us, what good we can do with them.
