The line graph illustrates the number of visitors who travelled to Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
Overall, it is apparent that the total count of travellers rose dramatically in the span of seven years. Moreover, more visitors preferred to stay on island in the initial years than on cruise ships, however the reverse was true in the last years.
The number of visitors who stayed at island in 2010 and 2011 stood at around 0.75 million. It then inclined steadily to 1.5million in 2013 and later plateaued until 2015. Although in 2016, the count of travellers declined slightly, but again climbed to 1.5million in 2017.
On the other hand, very few tourists were living on cruse ships in 2010, amounting to 0.25 million. After some fluctuations from 2011 to 2014, the number gradually soared to 2 million, surpassing the visitors staying on island. The total number of tourists in Caribbean island sky rocketed in the course of seven years, reaching a peak of 3.5 million visitors.

The information illustrated in the line graph gives insights into the count of people who paid visit to a specified island in the Caribbean, from the year 2010 to 2017.
To begin with, it is evident in the first glance that the total number of tourists showed a gradual increase from 1 million to around 2.75 million between 2010 and 2016, then there was a sudden increase in 2017 when numbers jumped to 3.5 million. Similarly, in case of the number of tourists staying on cruise ships, the numbers slowly moved from 0.25 million in 2010 to 2 million in 2017, however there was a slight dip in 2012, when the count fell to 0.25 million again, but since then it never looked back.
However, the pattern followed by people staying on the island during the same duration had a different trend. The number remained stable in 2010 and 2011 at 0.5 million, then it rose slightly to 1.5 million in 2013 and formed a plateau, before falling to 1.25 in 2016 and eventually ending up at 1.5 in 2017.
Overall, the footfall for visitors always observed a rising trend, but staying on cruise ships took over as their preferred place of accommodation over the option of staying on island, during their trips.
